ACCESSIFLOR

Installing services such as electrical, data, plumbing, central vacuum systems etc- is now easier.

Ceiling space for installation of services is always at a premium in most projects. This can cause delays in job completion. Installation costs can be reduced by the addition of space within the floor cavity of the Accessiflor. This allows the flexibility of selected distribution of your services- giving you more space in the ceiling for air conditioning units.

If you are working with heritage projects and would like to maintain the aesthetics of the interior, you do not need to give these up for the sake of limited service space. With your choice of preferred flooring, you can maintain and even enhance the aesthetics while hiding your services- all under foot.

Excellent for use in projects such as warehouse conversions. Convert your warehouse space into offices or residential apartments/living areas- allowing flexibility of design. This may be of special interest to our Canterbury clients.

ACOUSTIFLOR

Recommended by Marshall Day Acoustic Engineers as the solution for reduced noise transmission, Acoustiflor meets stringent building standards in New Zealand. B&C Acoustiflor will help you reach acoustic design criteria for your project due to the properties of our acoustic cradle. Tested in a lab for three days, reports have been generated to reflect the exceptional qualities of our Acoustiflor.

Providing a more acoustic efficiency in your building  can lead to the reduction in concrete and steel products in new builds- if these were increased for acoustic benefits.

As a proprietary system, a large range of noise frequencies can be reduced, or eliminated with Acoustiflor.

We have recently completed Acoustiflor applications:

Recording Studio in Freemans Bay, Telepresence Room in ANZ Building, (In field test available in downloads). Balconies at Retirement Village in Manurewa, Auckland. (possible link to gallery?)

ERGOFLOR
‘Whats wrong with my concrete floor?’

While concrete floors provide a particularly modern look, for those who spend long hours standing or even living on concrete floors, reports have shown that mild to severe health issues can arise from the lack of shock absorption or deflection. As well as the concrete ‘coldness’ coming through any floor coverings.

Staff who are expected to be on their feet for long durations would appreciate the qualities of Ergoflor as they would normally be affected by pain and aches from extended exposure to concrete substrates.

For areas such as gymnasiums, a certain measure of deflection is required to provide an ergonomic area for increased activity. Structurally, Ergoflor meets Australian and New Zealand standards, based on point load tests by structural and civil engineers.

B&C Ergoflor was installed last year at The University of Auckland in the Drama Suite. For uses of dramatic nature, Ergoflor provided the needed deflection and heel shock absorption for the dance and drama students.
